MGI commissions leading academics to provide both their insights and perspectives to our work. Martin Baily, a senior fellow at the Institute of International Economics and former Chairman of President Clinton’s Council of Economic Advisors, is currently an MGI senior advisor. Other academic advisors on recent projects included Richard Freeman of Harvard and Olivier Blanchard of MIT on MGI's offshoring research, and Richard Cooper and Kenneth Rogoff, both of Harvard University, on MGI's capital markets work.
