Markus has extensive experience working on large-scale transformations and corporate strategy, as well as functional areas such as operations and commercial for the healthcare industry across Australia, Europe, and the United States. He serves clients across the healthcare, health- insurance, pharmaceutical, and logistics industries, as well as financial investors.
Markus’s recent projects include performance transformation at statutory health insurers and wholesalers, operating-model redesign for global pharmacos, and corporate-strategy and portfolio work for financial investors.
Before joining McKinsey in 2013, Markus was a researcher at the RWTH Aachen University, where his work focused on fluid dynamics and he published more than 20 scientific articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
