Eleven alumni on 2020 Forbes 30 under 30 list

The prestigious list includes alumni innovators in consumer tech, education, media, law and policy, and more.

In its annual '30 Under 30' lists, Forbes seeks to recognize the most innovative, creative, and driven young leaders in a wide range of industries. Eleven alums are included on the recently released U.S. and Canada lists for 2020 (the Europe- and Asia-specific lists will be published next year).

A few facts:

• This is the highest-ever number of alumni on the U.S. / Canada list

• Alumni represent 9 of the 20 categories

• 6 of the 11 alums are women

• 6 of the 11 alums founded or co-founded the companies / ventures where they work

• There has been at least one alum on this list every year since it was launched in 2011

ART AND STYLE

Dae Lim (NYO 14-16) and Mia Park (NYO 17-18) -- Co-founders and fashion designers at Sundae School, a popular "smokewear" label.

CONSUMER TECHNOLOGY

Nikhil Goel (SVO 13-15) -- Head of Product at Uber Elevate, the company's urban aviation ride-sharing product that is expected to launch in 2023.

EDUCATION

Cassidy Leventhal (PHL 15-17) -- Vice President at University Ventures, a leading investment firm focused on the global higher-education sector. Cassidy is also active in helping Orthodox Jewish girls in their pursuit of higher education.

ENTERPRISE TECHNOLOGY

Sascha Eder (DUS, SCA, VAN 15-16) -- Co-founder of NewtonX, an AI platform that connects executives to industry experts. The startup has been valued at $50 million.

HEALTHCARE

Cameron Turtle (SVO 15-17) -- Chief Business Officer, Eidos Therapeutics, a clinical-stage biotech company working to develop novel treatments for a rare disease. Cameron helped raise more than $200 million for clinical trials.

MEDIA

Bonnie Cao (STA 12-13) -- Senior Manager of Business Development at CNN. Bonnie's role at the network involves supporting several of its offerings and forecasting how viewers are consuming content.

Snigdha Sur (NYO 12-14, 17-18) -- Founder of The Juggernaut, a subscription site and newsletter dedicated to South Asian news.

RETAIL AND ECOMMERCE

Lia Winograd (BOG 13-15) -- Co-founder of Pepper, which designs and makes smaller-sized bras.

SPORTS

Ian Hillman (DCO, NJE 13-16) -- VP of Strategy at Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment. Ian oversees corporate strategy and business intelligence for the Philadelphia 76ers, New Jersey Devils, Prudential Center and the Dignitas esports franchise.

VENTURE CAPITAL

Rebecca Liu (NYO 14-16) -- Senior Associate at Insight Partners. In three years, Rebecca has invested more than $750 million of capital across 13 deals.
