Ishaan Singh (GGN 16-17), co-founder, FrontRow
Backed by Lightspeed Ventures -- where Ishaan was previously an investor -- FrontRow is an online education platform with pre-recorded videos of best-in-class Indian performers, athletes, and others teaching their respective crafts. A Partner at Lightspeed, which is an investor in the company, describes it as sitting "at the intersection of education, entertainment and community." The app has been downloaded more than 100,000 times on Google Play, with more than 10,000 paying to download current courses.

Shogo Okada (TOK 14-16), co-founder, Progrit
Progrit, an English-language coaching service based in Tokyo, launched in 2016. The program aims to improve English proficiency in a short period of time, offering full-time language consultants to support students. It currently boasts more than 10,000 users, including some big-name clients.

Shi Khai Wei (KLA 16-18), COO, LongHash Ventures
LongHash Ventures, a global blockchain accelerator and venture capital fund, focuses on catalyzing growth for the next generation of blockchain startups. Two years ago, his 12-week incubation program yielded more than USD $18 million in funding for the participating startups.

Nicole Liu (current Firm member, on education leave), founder, Kin Fertility
Based in Sydney, Nicole's reproductive health platform Kin Fertility offers products and services for women ranging from online contraceptive pill subscriptions to postpartum wellness. Women can consult doctors virtually, and get access to information for all stages of the reproductive journey.

Hamza Jawaid (DBI 15-20), co-founder, Bazaar Technologies
Hamza co-founded B2B e-commerce platform Bazaar Technologies in June 2020 as the pandemic became more widespread. The online marketplace connects small retailers directly to wholesalers and manufacturers. Bazaar has the distinction of having raised Pakistan's largest-ever pre-seed round, and the largest seed round in the Middle East and North Africa.

Fabio Mancini (current Firm member), founder, RE-Company
The first product of Fabio's RE-Company is the "smart" stainless steel water bottle REBO, scheduled to be on the market soon. REBO not only creates a customized hydration plan for users, but also tracks the environmental impact every time you fill it up. The brand also sponsors the collection of plastic waste.

Stephane Roux (BER 16-19), co-founder, Wonder
Stephane aims to take on Zoom with his new videoconferencing app. He and his co-founders integrated dynamic discussions into the design; its interface includes a "map" view, which allows call participants to drop out of or join new conversation groups at any time. As of a few months ago, Wonder had 45,000 monthly active users and a weekly growth rate of 25 percent.
