Johanne is a preeminent thought leader on the topic of leadership, recognized globally for her work in developing adaptive leadership. Johanne is an accomplished author and frequent lecturer who has made significant contributions to several recent books. She coauthored Centered Leadership: Leading with Purpose, Clarity, and Impact (2014) and has contributed to works including The Journey of Leadership (2024), Deliberate Calm (2022), and Leadership at Scale (2018).
Since joining the firm in 1993 with an MBA and a background in electrical engineering, Johanne has developed a passion for the human aspects of driving broader organizational change. This includes shifting underlying mindsets, habits, structural interaction dynamics, and leadership models—moving from individual to networked leaders—to steer the organization through the complex demands of an ever-evolving business landscape.
Johanne now coaches senior executives and their teams, delivers experiential learning and development programs at scale, and consults on systemic human-centric change, with a focus on using transformation as the context to embed culture change and develop greater leadership agility and resilience.
