Jon co-leads McKinsey’s Global Wealth & Asset Management practice, including client service for wealth, asset management, and retirement clients, in addition to oversight of the proprietary financial services solutions PriceMetrix and Performance Lens.

Jon’s client service is focused on enterprise strategy, growth initiatives, and performance transformation. He has served over two dozen leading global players in the wealth and asset management industry, leading projects that have delivered substantial return on investment.

Examples of Jon’s recent client work include:

  • Supporting a leading global asset manager on enterprise strategy to enter and take share in new markets
  • Leading a multi-year growth transformation for a top performing wealth and retirement firm
  • Identifying and executing on a 15%+ efficiency opportunity for a leading global asset manager, that created flexibility to invest in and grow strategic priorities
  • Working with the CEO and top team of a world-class retirement player on their purpose-led strategy

Jon has published extensively on the future of wealth, asset management and retirement, and frequently speaks on the topic of the industry’s direction. Outside of McKinsey, Jon and his wife have one son, and are active in their local community and school. Jon is on the Board of The Writer’s Trust.

Jon holds an MBA from INSEAD and a master’s degree in International Political Economy from the London School of Economics. He earned a BA from Amherst College in History and Politics.
