Irfan, a business analyst in Boston, shares his week with us.
What was your favorite moment this week?
I got a chance to rework the fiscal plan for a university, then discuss it with our clients.
What did you eat for lunch today?
I had a turkey wrap with cranberry sauce by the beach.
What is special about your office?
The Boston office is great. It is a large small office, which means that no matter how big our community grows, it is tight knit and strong. People here know each other and keep up with each other’s life events, joyous occasions, and difficult times. Having that community, especially on fun Fridays, is really important.
What are your weekend plans?
I am going to pick wild blueberries in western Massachusetts and then make pie from them with a few friends. I’m originally from Utah, so I love being outdoors and doing all sorts of nature-based things. This is one opportunity for me to do that out here on the East Coast.
What type of music makes you feel motivated?
Disney hits, Christmas music in November and December, summer hits from the 2000s (Pandora or Spotify station), and punk rock from the 2000s in general. All of it is a throwback to my childhood, and I love that.
What was your best teammate interaction this week?
My engagement manager and I did our feedback and goal-setting discussion on the beach. It was amazing, and definitely a unique experience. I also got constructive, thoughtful feedback, which is always helpful.
What is your favorite app?
- Social media: Twitter (though I love Snapchat too)
- Productivity: Concur (it makes work travel a breeze)
- Health: 7 Minute Workout
- Craft: Mosaic (easy and great gifts)
