Who You'll Work With

You will work in our Singapore office with our Finalta team serving banking clients within the region. You will have the opportunity to work directly with clients and get exposure to senior leadership. Our defined project cycles mean you can plan your schedule in advance and manage your work-life balance in a way that suits you. 
Building on more than fifteen years of experience working with leading banks and insurers, Finalta combines performance benchmark data and best practice knowledge from 350 financial institutions in over 50 countries to generate insights on how to achieve superior performance. 
Annual benchmarking provides clients with a unique management tool to objectively assess performance against peers and quantify opportunities for improvement. Our best-practice cases illustrate how to close performance gaps and give clients a roadmap to reach world-class performance while reducing the time, cost, and risk of change.

Your impact within our firm

In this role, you will be given high levels of responsibility from the start, working directly with our clients to lead industry benchmarking.  
Our core benchmarking projects last 6 months. Within the project teams, you will be matched with 4-6 clients and will be responsible for working directly with them to validate and analyze data, generate key recommendations, and produce compelling deliverables for senior executives. You will have the opportunity to build relationships with clients, meet with senior stakeholders, and present findings to them (with support from colleagues).
You will develop market analysis and insights using data and best-practice case studies, which will be used to help clients set priorities and performance targets, make strategic decisions, and influence the case for change. 
You will develop industry expertise and client management experience from the start. As you continue to progress in the role, you will also grow your people and stakeholder management skills as you take on more responsibilities to coach junior colleagues and lead teams.  

Your qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline
  • Exceptional analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities 
  • Recent graduate or up to 18+ months of experience in strategy, market research, consulting, financial services or similar industries 
  • Keen interest in Banking and Financial Services sectors
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter with the ability to manage time and produce high-quality work  
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Strong written and verbal fluency (in both English and Mandarin Chinese)
