Do you want to do work that matters, alongside supportive leaders who will help you grow faster than you ever thought possible? Are you a creative problem-solver who is energized by challenges? You’ve come to the right place.
You’ll work in one of our Greater China offices as part of McKinsey’s Industrial IoT Hub.
This group aims to help client unlock the enormous potential of the Internet of Things and digital solutions. Our value proposition spans the full product life cycle, ranging from data diagnostic to pilot, strategy, solution implementation, and ongoing operations. We focus on delivering end-to-end Industrial IoT transformations, covering the entire operations value chain across the following five core functions: 1. Procurement, 2. Manufacturing, 3. Supply chain and inventory control, 4. Design-to-value, 5. Service operations automation. Within each function, we deliver dedicated operational excellence programs based on proven service line methodologies and analytics.
You will play an active role in identifying issues, forming hypotheses, designing and conducting analyses, synthesizing conclusions into recommendations, and helping to implement change.
In this role a strong emphasis will be placed on your ability to coach and build capabilities across a wide range of clients, from shop floor workers to top executives. You will gain leading-edge operations and consulting skills primarily through on-the-job apprenticing while working on client and knowledge development projects reinforced through structured training programs.
You’ll provide manufacturing expertise to consulting teams to help clients tackle some of their most pressing challenges, and you will help develop possible solutions and prepare for implementation.
