Your Impact

You will serve clients by leveraging a holistic, execution-centric approach, providing interim management and transformation leadership capabilities.  
To achieve proven results, you will apply all levers: including not only cost, but also business model changes, revenue growth, organizational change and capability building. Your client engagements will often span 12+ months.
You will combine a strategic perspective with disciplined implementation to identify the strategic, operational, organizational, and financial levers that will deliver client impact. You will apply the McKinsey’s results-oriented and proprietary MT processes, which are backed by tools, benchmarks, and methodologies.

Your Growth

You will join one of our offices in Germany or Austria and will be part of our fast growing McKinsey's Transformation (MT) practice. You will serve on a client engagement team to help our clients in their transformation efforts.
Established in 2010, MT is the driving force behind holistic performance improvements and corporate restructurings. Our focus? Elevating the performance of companies through rapid and sustainable change.

Join a team of a dedicated MT consultants, complemented by consultants with deep industry and functional expertise within our global network. Your role transcends traditional restructuring – it's about contributing to success stories and fostering positive change on a grand scale.

Your qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor's degree; master's degree or MBA is preferred
  • Degree in business/management, economics, engineering or law preferred
  • Experience with financial modeling, analysis and valuation preferred
  • Experience in driving operational turnarounds and/or accelerated growth initiatives spanning critical strategic, revenue, cost, and working capital levers
  • Ability to drive change through people leadership and capability building
  • Experience working in professional service environments, especially management consulting, restructuring/transformation consulting, investment banking, private equity, preferred 
  • Strong problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing), in German and English
