Communication & Engagement Specialist

Job ID: 91123
  • Manila

Do you want to do work that matters, alongside supportive leaders who will help you grow faster than you ever thought possible? Are you a creative problem-solver who is energized by challenges? You’ve come to the right place.

Who You'll Work With

You’ll work as a key member of McKinsey Global Services (MGS) Manila, based in the Philippines. You will lead, drive, and support the MGS Manila leadership team across three main facets: Community Engagement, Communications, and Location Connectivity. You will drive internal and external communications, coordinate major and minor events (e.g., Values Day, Day of Service, speaker programs, town halls, office connectivity events), and support the location leadership team in driving community and engagement efforts and operational priority projects (e.g., integration, risk topics, DEI) as required within our location.

Your impact within our firm

As a key member of our MGS Manila leadership team, you will work with MGS leadership and other stakeholders to develop and implement communication strategies to keep our colleagues engaged, informed, and connected to various office-focused events, social responsibility initiatives, learning opportunities, and other operational updates.
You will work together with the Site Services Team, colleagues, and leadership across our Manila location to develop and execute internal and external communications, lead/support community engagement initiatives, and promote awareness of our MGS goals and priorities. You will own, develop, and manage our location intranet pages through preparing and publishing impactful stories, content, initiatives, and campaigns. Additionally, you will have and drive a strong understanding of McKinsey and MGS branding.
You will collaborate closely with MGS Manila location leadership and act as a liaison in supporting strategic initiatives, including connectivity, community service, and sustainability. This requires your ability to mobilize and lead smaller teams of colleagues from different functions and service lines to plan and execute specific projects, initiatives, and events at the office level. You will also work collaboratively with other regional and global McKinsey locations to ensure alignment with global McKinsey communication strategies and share best practices and content.
