Assistants are expected to be creative problem solvers for the senior partner and/or partner they support.
In this role, you will cooperate with your partners to optimize their time, create trust-based relationships within their network while building your own, and deliver high quality end-product. The partners’ network includes their teams, practices, and internal colleagues.
You will build ongoing rapport with your partners, their clients, client assistants, internal colleagues, and other EAs globally.
You will act as an informed representative for the partners when interacting with clients, internal and external customers, and others while maintaining the confidentiality of highly sensitive information.
As the Executive Assistant, you will be responsible for organizing, strategically managing, and maintaining detailed, complex calendars for senior partners and others. This includes planning client and internal meetings, conference calls, conferences/events, and lunches/dinners. The role also involves coordinating travel and managing travel logistics/preferences for the individuals supported.
Additionally, you will track and manage all incoming communications, responding to correspondence that does not require the personal attention of the partner.
With minimal guidance, you will assume responsibility for planning, organizing, and executing major projects, such as calls and meetings that require the coordination of schedules for senior leadership participants. Acting as an informed deputy, you will interact with clients and other persons whose goodwill and respect are of critical importance to the partners and the firm, while developing strong relationships with clients and client administrative contacts.
In this role you will collaborate with Executive Assistant Managers and department members to create smooth workflows, soliciting assistance from others as needed and helping others as appropriate, ensuring follow-through and flexibility to meet appropriate and timely actions and deadlines.
