In this role you will be a thought partner to client service teams as well as internal stakeholders and members of leadership, providing deep analytical support to manage the economics throughout the full engagement lifecycle (ensuring appropriate budgeting, revenue recognition, tracking project and billing/accounts receivable and another related activities). You will also provide critical forecasting and analyses while making appropriate recommendations, in a variety of environments, including 1:1 conversation with relevant stakeholders.
As a Finance Specialist you need to possess strong general problem-solving and communication skills, which enable you to navigate tricky situations and complex stakeholder groups, act through influence not authority, and craft solutions that balance sometimes competing needs, while managing the engagement economics.
You will be responsible for helping to identify areas of opportunities, lead small projects and initiatives focused on performance and efficiency, while ensuring compliance with firm finance policies. Additionally, you will provide ad-hoc analyses and support regional/global special project assigned, yearend activities; internal & external audits and other related activities as may be needed and assigned from time to time.
You will also nurture an increasing network and connectivity within the financial and office community by: maintaining a body of knowledge and expertise, including communicating the impact of changing practices and policies; collaborating with internal colleagues for process improvement; problem-solving; mentorship and professional development support of junior colleagues and/or managing & overseeing their activities and extending support on their escalations and complex scenarios.
