You will be based in our office in Johannesburg, South Africa and will be part of our global Client Capabilities Network.

Your impact within our firm

The Analytics Graduate Program will provide you with the skills and experience to develop expertise across multiple industry and/or functional areas through 3 focused rotations across firm functions, solutions, and client serving roles.  
You will join a cohort of fellows with a strong community building program, building critical new skills within the realms of leadership, analytics, and business strategy. Throughout the 10-month graduate program, you will receive mentorship, sponsorship, developmental guidance and support opportunities from key firm leaders.
At the end of the fellowship, if in good standing, you will be eligible to apply for a full-time position at McKinsey. You will build on the experience and network you have gained to apply for an available role on a team you worked with during your fellowship or apply for other open roles you are interested in.

Your qualifications and skills

  • Recent graduate or 1+ years of experience with the following honors qualifications quantitative/analytical degree (e.g., computer science, information technology, quantitative or actuarial science, engineering, or related fields with an excellent academic record, etc.)
  • Proficient in coding and programming 
  • Interested in gaining professional experience across a wide range of client organizations and business functions
  • Aptitude for analytics and enjoys solving challenging and ambiguous problems
  • Excited about building skills in analytics across data engineering, visualization, optimization and simulations, through rotations in various teams
  • Strong record of leadership and initiative taking
