Your Impact

In this paid 10-week internship that will run from June through August, you will be part of McKinsey Global Publishing, a team of editors, designers, producers, and developers who are responsible for creating, publishing, and disseminating content—articles, reports, blogs, videos, podcasts, infographics, email newsletters, and other formats—that supports the firm’s reputation and advances the practice of management.  
You will be based in Atlanta.

Your Growth

You will have the opportunity to learn areas of digital business publishing. Depending on your experience and skills, these areas can include surveys, email marketing and operations, and support of various promotional, storytelling, and generative AI projects. 
Furthermore, you will interact with other groups within the broader publishing team and get a sense of how a fairly large publishing operation works.

Your qualifications and skills

  • Current student (sophomore and above, including seniors graduating in 2025 and grad students) of an accredited U.S. college or university
  • Relevant work/internship experience in publishing or journalism
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong interest in business-related content
  • Crisp written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Effective problem-solving skills, including the ability to assess situations, evaluate options, and make decisions
  • Strong organizational and project-management skills
  • Collaborative work ethic and strong desire to learn
  • Comfort working in a low-structure, nonhierarchical environment
