You will be based in Santiago, Buenos Aires or Montevideo as part of our Spanish Latam Payroll team. You will work Payroll and Finance team in a regional level.
You will be interacting with colleagues within the finance function and across functions (e.g., HR, recruiting, legal, etc.). You will also interact with colleagues in other geographies. You will directly report to the team’s manager.
You will provide deep analytical support across a broad range o financial and client service-related areas to office, practices or other firm topics. You will lead smaller projects and initiatives innovating on financial concepts and report design, generating new insights, and simultaneously deepening the expertise related to firm financial concepts and policies.
You will maintain body of knowledge in area of expertise (Payroll) and assess and communicate impact of changes on practices and policies. As a Payroll Specialist, you will create and enhance complex reporting models that include standard metrics and benchmarks that assist senior leaders in making strategic decisions.
You will present analyses and reports and functions as a thought partner to relevant leadership; also you will develop strategies to ensure that financial and/or client service information is accurately generated and effectively communicated.
As a Payroll Specialist, you will support professional development for junior colleagues, e.g. via project work or by building functional knowledge of the analyst peer group; act as mentor for a number of junior colleagues.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, economics or related field
- 5+ years of relevant experience in payroll and/or finance
- Highly experienced using Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Deep technical/functional knowledge in accounting and payroll
- Fluency in English and Spanish
