You will be a key member of the Proposal Excellence Team for SHaPE, with a focus on Japan. In this role, you will own a portfolio of proposals in support of the SHaPE Practice that are worked in coordination with a range of collaborators. This role is a unique blend of strategy, operations, content expertise, stakeholder management, communications / design, and project management. Specifically, you will collaborate with consultant teams to develop compelling and compliant proposals, either owning key content elements (e.g., executive summaries, work plan, case studies, qualifications) or leading end-to-end support.
You will become a trusted advisor to consultant teams on proposal best practices and the full range of communications considerations for documents and presentations. Drawing on the full range of assets and capabilities, you will ensure that the “best of the Firm” is brought to the proposal based on the client need.
You will manage proposal performance management processes and systems (e.g., tracking, debriefs). Where needed, you will facilitate reviews with other Firm Functions and conduct compliance and quality reviews. You will guide colleagues to ensure adherence to relevant procedures, such as file structure, archive, and backup, for all proposal materials and processes.
Additionally, you will prepare templates, compliance matrices, close-out activities, and other administrative elements throughout proposal development based on submission requirements. You will strengthen the Firm’s proposal knowledge and capabilities through learning program facilitation, asset creation, knowledge codification, and active dissemination of best practices, tools, and methodologies.
Finally, you will help build the Firm’s proposal community through recruiting, development, and coaching of team members.
