Your Impact

You will be responsible for Guatemala Campus Recruiting end-to-end process by driving strategy and execution, to ensure undergrad students and recent-graduate professionals see McKinsey as their employer of choice.  
You will be responsible for the full candidate life cycle, turning your profile requirements into effective sourcing strategies, using an appropriate combination of direct sourcing and referrals to approach, attract and develop candidate interest. You will work hand in hand with candidates and internal clients guiding both efficiently through our robust election process, synthesizing feedback from assessors and threading together a story line to determine the viability of a candidate’s success for our election process whilst providing consistent reporting to leadership on pipelines and progress against your goals.
You will build relations with key local external parties and manage the community of consultants participating in the recruiting process. You will cultivate and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts.
Finally, you will have a great opportunity to participate in recruiting related projects to set best practice, e.g. performance metrics and work to identify and recommend improvement opportunities, ensure recruiting remains a leadership agenda item and developing the skills and capabilities of other members of the recruiting team. 

Your Growth

You will work in our Guatemala City office, as part of our SL Recruiting Team, leading Guatemala campus recruiting efforts. You will have the opportunity to work the Latam Recruiting team and partner with the consultants team and local leadership. You will also work hand in hand with candidates, guiding them through our process. 

Your qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 2+ years of experience in recruiting both campus and industry hires in a multinational organization, financial services or professional services firm is preferred
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with candidates, consultants at all levels and recruiting colleagues
  • Ability to work collaboratively in strong team environment, yet work independently to see projects through to completion
  • Exceptional organizational and administrative skills, attention to detail yet mindful of the big picture
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize your deliverables
  • Committed to representing our firm in a professional way, both in person and on the phone or via email
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and accommodate team demands
  • Ability to take the initiative and deal with unexpected situations or last-minute changes
  • Comfortable working with minimal direction and ambiguity
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
