You will work as part of the firm's Risk function that advises McKinsey's Partners on how the firm can best serve its clients and conduct thought leadership while managing any associated risks.
As part of the opportunity, you will advise Partners on how to manage potential risks in client engagements in Asia, guided by firm policies, develop briefing materials for and coordinate discussions by the Client Service Risk Committee, a Global Committee of firm Leaders that advises on the most complex cases, on high risk engagements and lead risk assessments across individual offices in Asia to assess key risks and develop mitigation recommendations, with a focus on technology topics, including IT modernization and strategy to Agile, cloud, cybersecurity, Generative AI and digital transformation. In order to do so effectively, you will partner closely with and integrate advice from across firm functions (including Communications, Finance, and Legal) and ‘cells’ (practices, offices, new delivery models) to provide counsel on multi-faceted issues.
In addition, you will contribute to awareness efforts around risk policies and compliance processes, incident management, crisis response, and “after action” assessments and well as on global initiatives, such as policy reviews, as a member of our global Risk function.
