Your Impact

Your responsibilities will include: configuration and development of business-oriented IT solutions on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform, validation and control of technical designs in the team as well as tutoring developers while teaching best coding practices. 

Your Growth

You'll be based in Bogotá as part of the Growth Tech on Salesforce team, the Salesforce technology backbone of the Growth, Marketing & Sales practice at McKinsey & Company.
The Growth, Marketing & Sales Practice strives to help clients in both consumer and business-to-business environments on a wide variety of marketing and sales topics. The mission of this practice is to help clients achieve marketing-driven profit growth. Our clients benefit from our experience in core areas of marketing such as branding, customer insights, marketing ROI, digital marketing, CLM pricing, and sales and channel management.
Together with the most powerful CRM tool in the market, Salesforce, we create unique, high-impact solutions for our clients.

Your qualifications and skills

  • Degree in engineering, mathematics or master's degree
  • 5+ years of programming experience: AMPScript, SSJS (Server-side Javascript), HTML (for web and email development), Javascript (jQuery), CSS (Bootstrap), Object-oriented programming (ex. Java, C#)
  • Development tools: Visual Studio Code, Postman, Email testing softwares (ex. Litmus, EmailOnAcid), Diagram tools (ex. Draw io, Miro)
  • High knowledge and problem-solving capacity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud environment
  • Expertise on Marketing Cloud Personalisation and Data Cloud 
  • Knowledge of Databases and SQL
  • Version control GIT
  • Project management: Jira, confluence
  • Autonomous, independent and self-taught person with a high capacity for teamwork and initiative
  • Strong understanding of business and ability to connect technical solutions with strategic objectives
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish
