Your Impact

In this role, you will directly advise clients on trade compliance matters, assessing the impacts of import and export regulations, customs procedures, sanctions, and related issues.  
You will conduct compliance assessments by reviewing client operations, identifying opportunities for optimization, and recommending practical solutions. A key part of your responsibilities will be helping clients understand and address geopolitical risks that could impact their global supply chains and trade activities.
You will also collaborate with internal teams to develop and refine proprietary data and analytical tools that provide unique insights into global trade and geopolitical trends. Building and maintaining strong working relationships with both clients and internal team members will be essential to your success. Additionally, you will actively monitor changes to relevant trade regulations and geopolitical factors, with the goal of evolving into a subject matter expert (SME) in the field.
Please note that there is flexibility to hire at the Analyst, Senior Analyst or Specialist level, depending on your experience.

Your Growth

You’ll work in our Wroclaw office as a part of our global Client Capability Network (CCN), which includes more than 8,000 knowledge professionals who work alongside our consultants and clients to generate distinctive insights and proprietary knowledge. 
You will be joining an international Geopolitics Practice. This client-facing team offers a unique opportunity to apply your expertise to help clients navigate the complex geopolitical landscape and its impact on international trade. You will be spending around 25% working directly with our Clients, which includes travelling to your client site. You will also contribute to the development of proprietary data and analytics assets that power our consulting services.

Your qualifications and skills

  • 2+ years of experience in a trade-focused role (corporate, customs brokerage, or government agency focused on international trade).
  • Solid understanding of import/export regulations, customs procedures, HTS classification, valuation, country of origin rules, free trade agreements, and export controls.
  • Experience with trade compliance software and tools (e.g., Global Trade Management systems) is a plus.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
  • Certifications like Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) or Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) are a plus, but not required.
