Fernando has experience in cloud strategy and architecture, modern engineering, and technology operating models. By combining his knowledge with specific business domains, he can participate, articulate, and lead projects and programs where technology is business critical.
He joined the firm in 2022, specializing in solution architectures, complex technology transformations, and the impact of digital disruption in various industries (such as transportation, finance, and telecommunications).
Some of his recent work includes:
- Leading a resilience program for one of the largest banks to support their ecosystem-based growth strategy
- Articulating and leading the cloud operating model transformation, with a specific focus on cloud cost management (FinOps)
- Leading the design and implementation of a native cloud-based “platform as a product” solution supporting a new digital business ecosystem (including a new IT operating model)
- Assisting the strategy, business case, and roadmap towards the cloud.
- Supporting the definition of a cloud strategy and roadmap and the implementation of a new operating model with a focus on various processes such as change, incident, and problem management for a regional bank
- Overseeing technology and architecture in two post-merger integrations in the banking industry
- Coleading the technology and architecture integration of an airline merger in Latin America
- Leading the creation of the Multiple Cloud Architecture Diploma program
