My path to McKinsey
My educational background is in banking and corporate finance. In total, I was privileged to study at four universities on three continents, from Australia to Europe to the United States, ending my journey at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland. There might be one more chapter coming in the future—my ambition and dream to pursue an MBA degree at Stanford University.
Developing professionally
I spent almost 7 months working on an organization project for a banking client undergoing a major transformation. Our goal was to help the company organize itself in a more effective way, develop talent, and help employees fulfill their potential. This effort was very much in line with my values and beliefs.
Lately, I have also been engaged in people development and mentoring, both inside and outside of the firm. I mentor candidates and junior colleagues and colead several recruiting initiatives, including our flagship event in Prague, Solve It.
Work-life balance

I am a coleader of Prague’s Green Team, which is part of the firm’s effort to help the company think better about the environment and sustainability. At the same time, I strive to lead a healthy lifestyle, even during challenging projects. I have found that I am much more effective at work and feel more engaged and happier when I recharge with physical activity during and between projects. Recently, I managed to achieve several top three results in mountain running and Spartan races, and I qualified for the endurance world championship Spartan race (a 24-hour race). I believe a significant contributor to my work and my outside-work performance is being an athlete who follows a plant-based diet.
