Advanced recycling expands the types of plastics that can be recycled, allowing for the creation of polymers that can be reformed and reused. If existing constraints were resolved, advanced recycling could meet up to 8 percent of polymer demand by the end of the decade, providing investment opportunities of more than $40 billion.
