Tech is facing a wide skills gap, according to an analysis of 4.3 million job postings across 15 tech trends. There is a broad shortage of experienced talent throughout electrification and renewable-energy technologies and in other climate technology areas, senior partner Lareina Yee and coauthors report. There is also an undersupply of talent in specialized biotech areas, including gene therapy.
