The ties that bind

Global cooperation is key to better lives and livelihoods, but in some areas it appears to have stalled after trending positively for much of the past decade. In collaboration with the World Economic Forum, global managing partner Bob Sternfels and colleagues developed a Global Cooperation Barometer that looks at five pillars of cooperation. Trade and capital flows and climate and natural capital are on the rise, while innovation and technology, health and wellness, and peace and security have either leveled off or are on the decline.
