One emerging pathway is to implement as-a-service models, in which the purchaser receives a product or capability in a subscription or pay-as-you-go model rather than purchasing and owning an asset using traditional procurement pathways. These models can allow government organizations to accelerate the deployment of new solutions, ensure capabilities can be quickly applied against threats, and establish a more sustainable and cost-effective way of partnering with the private sector.
