Specializes in sustainable financing, risk, and regulations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Elias helps several leading financial institutions shape and deliver on multiyear transformations. This encompasses the design and implementation of corporate and business-unit strategies, organization and operating models, as well as risk and capital capabilities. More recently, Elias has been leading efforts to drive sustainability topics within financial institutions across the region.

Elias also supports several central banks and regulators across the Middle East and North Africa in building their next-generation capabilities. This includes serving clients on various topics such as monetary management, financial stability, stress testing, supervision and supervisory tech frameworks, digital banking, and fintech regulations.

Before joining McKinsey, Elias worked with banks and central banks across the Middle East while at the financial services practice of Booz & Company. Before that, Elias worked at UBS Investment Banking in London and HSBC Fixed Income in Paris. Elias holds an MBA from INSEAD Business School and an Engineering Diploma from Supélec, France.

He is fluent in English, French, and Arabic, his native language.
