David joined McKinsey’s Madrid office in 2017 and is now based in the Mexico office, focused on helping companies in North America and Latin America through technology transformations.
David is the leader of our Technology Practice in Mexico. He is also leading our consumer technology work in Latin America and is part of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) group. With extensive expertise in enabling new digital and analytics capabilities through technology and platform modernization transformations, David has made significant contributions to his clients’ success.
Examples of his recent client work include:
- leading the tech maturity assessment and IT strategy definition for a decoration consumer products company in Mexico, including enterprise resource planning strategy
- assessing tech maturity and defining a strategic plan for organization, operating model, and talent for a bottler in Central America
- defining the S/4HANA migration strategy for a food and beverage company in the United States, including technical approach, business case, and roadmap
- directing the definition of the IT strategy for a large bottler, including organization, operating model, talent, software engineering, cybersecurity, data, architecture, and infrastructure
- designing the data strategy for a food and beverage company in the United States to achieve their digital and analytics aspirations
- developing the data strategy for a leading retail/apparel company in Europe, including analytics objectives, operating model, organization, and technology
- leading the digital transformation and technical implementation of digital journeys for a leading financial institution in LatAm
- supporting a leading bank in Europe in their MarTech strategy and architecture implementation
