Next Generation Women Leaders (NGWL) Asia-Pacific is a two-day virtual program for ambitious women like you who are ready to make their next bold move.

Taking place May 29-30, 2025, this event will equip you with the insights, connections, and confidence you need to turn your ambition into impact.

What the Next Generation Women Leaders Asia-Pacific program offers

With decades of experience shaping global leaders and cultivating impactful networks, we know what it takes to build women’s leadership potential—and we’re ready to invest in yours.
Inspiration and insights
During various learning sessions, you will gain invaluable insights from other successful women on how to become and grow as a leader. Their journeys will inspire you to lead with impact.
Personal and professional development
During interactive workshops, you will build upon your leadership skills, shape your leadership style, and bring your confidence and communication skills to the next level.
Networking and mentorship
During and after the event, you will build a supportive network of women who will inspire, challenge, and mentor you.
Our NGWL events are intended for women and are fully transgender and nonbinary inclusive. NGWL is just one of our many worldwide programs aimed at helping individuals get to know McKinsey better.

Agenda

Day 1
Be inspired by getting to know other ambitious and driven women, hearing their stories, and building a supportive network.
Day 2
Get energized by participating in interactive workshops, building upon your leadership skills, and focusing on your personal and professional development.

How to apply

Eligibility

To be considered for NGWL Asia–Pacific, you must:

  • Be based in or have strong ties to the Asia-Pacific region.
  • Be a bachelor’s, master’s, PhD, or MBA student graduating no later than 2026 OR a professional with up to eight years of work experience.

To apply, please submit the following by May 1, 2025:

  • Resume in English (required). This should include details of your education and grades, work experience, extracurricular activities, and achievements.
  • Cover letter (optional, maximum of 250 words). This should describe your motivation to join the program and additional information not included in your resume, e.g., leadership experience, achievements, or personal circumstances explaining your connection to the region.
  • Your preferred office location (required). When you apply, you will choose up to three office locations that will review your application (see the list of participating offices below). We advise you to make your choices based on geographic ties (e.g., you have studied or lived in the country). You should also be fluent in the local language.

Participating offices

As part of the application process, you will complete an online digital assessment that will last approximately 110 minutes. This does not require any preparation or prior business knowledge. More details will be shared after submitting your application. Please note that residents of Mainland China and applicants of South Korea are exempt from the digital assessment for this program.
