Internship Opportunities

You can join McKinsey Norway as an intern if you are still studying and want a hands-on opportunity to work as a consultant. We look for people who are enterprising and have strong analytical and leadership skills.

As an intern, you will become familiar with McKinsey’s integrated approach to problem solving, teamwork, and client engagements and gain valuable work experience before graduation. As a full team member, you will work with McKinsey experts from around the world, receive day-to-day coaching from your project manager and team members, and gain insight into the critical challenges that our clients face. In some cases, a successful internship can lead to the opportunity to return to McKinsey after graduation.

We offer internships throughout the year. Students are eligible to apply for an internship at the end of their second year of study. Internships typically last six-eight weeks.

The application deadline for internships with a start date in 2025 is September 1, 2024. If you are accepted, we will plan the dates of your internship with you and do our best to accommodate your wishes. Our application requirements for internships are identical to our full-time roles, although fluency in Norwegian is a necessity.
