Aakash leads the Client Capabilities Hub in Gurugram—McKinsey’s largest hub, with a diverse set of more than 500 knowledge professionals across different functions, industry sectors, and growth platforms.
He comes with rich experience across a variety of roles in McKinsey. After joining the firm in 2007, he started his career as integrative consultant in Delhi office, serving clients directly for many years. He then led the incubation of several digital and other solutions before pivoting to supporting McKinsey with some key acquisitions and strategic partnerships.
Aakash is responsible for setting the hub’s vision and strategic priorities and steering it, including incubation of new capabilities, collaboration across cells, and cutting-edge innovation. He is also responsible for people development, coaching, and mentoring of knowledge professionals in the hub.
He is passionate about creating a meaningful, inspiring, and authentic work environment that supports colleagues in their professional and personal growth. A longstanding practitioner of yoga and meditation, he believes in holistic growth.
