Dago is a senior partner in McKinsey’s Düsseldorf office and a leader of our Strategy & Corporate Finance Practice in Germany as well as our global business-strategy work. He has worked extensively with clients on strategy development and implementation in the energy, automotive, and high-tech industries across Asia, Europe, and the United States. He has also supported senior executives with challenges involving M&A, corporate finance, corporate valuation, globalization, and performance transformation.

Examples of Dago’s recent client projects include the following:

  • advising an energy company on a transformation program and defining industry-shaping moves, including M&A
  • helping an Asian electronics group develop a growth strategy based on long-term trend analysis
  • supporting a Western commercial-vehicle manufacturer with its China strategy, including a go-to-market and branding strategy and in-depth financial analysis
  • designing and implementing a groupwide key performance indicator “cockpit” and steering system for a company’s top management

Dago also has considerable experience in trend and disruption research. He contributes regularly to McKinsey’s knowledge development and helped design our digital strategic-planning solution.
