As a partner and head of public affairs, Danielle oversees the reputation and fosters relationships at McKinsey. With Danielle’s guidance, the public affairs team works energetically to establish McKinsey as a trusted resource within the community, providing crucial insights into the dynamics of business and the global economy.
Before joining McKinsey, Danielle directed US Federal Affairs at a leading rideshare technology company, where she played a key role in reshaping legislative perspectives on transportation. In her roles as a partner and principal at two leading government relations consultancies, she provided strategic counsel for Fortune 500 companies, trade associations, and nonprofits.
Danielle’s earlier accomplishments include cofounding and chairing the Coalition for a Democratic Workplace, a coalition of over 500 organizations united by their shared concerns about federal actions. Furthermore, she served as the senior director of legislative affairs at a national construction industry trade association representing over 22,000 members. There, Danielle oversaw legislative strategy and led a lobbying team, advocating for the interests and concerns of the association’s members in the political and regulatory landscape.
With a rich background on Capitol Hill, Danielle is one of the few veterans to have worked in both Senate and House leadership roles. She served as the Director of External Affairs for then House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy and contributed to the Senate as part of the team for Republican Whip Senator Jon Kyl.
