Denny is a partner in McKinsey’s Berlin office and part of the leadership team of the firm’s Battery Accelerator Team.
Due to over 15 years of experience working in start-ups and with battery industry leaders, Denny brings extensive knowledge and expertise to help clients across the entire battery value chain, including raw materials, cell and battery production, and recycling. His proficiency encompasses the development, industrialization, and scale-up of battery technologies for automotive and energy storage systems.
Before joining McKinsey in 2024, Denny worked in various executive leadership positions for LG Energy Solution and LG Chem in Europe, eventually becoming CEO of LG Energy Solution Europe. Before that, he led battery cell technological and product development in two joint ventures that became subsidiaries of Mercedes Benz Group (formerly Daimler AG).
