Dongyoon is an associate partner in McKinsey’s Seoul office and is a core member of the Operations and Private Capital Practices. He works with Korean conglomerates to achieve cost leadership through holistic operational transformations, including procurement, production etc. He also advises private equity investors on marketing scanning, new acquisitions and exits.

Some of his recent client work includes the following:

  • advising exit preparation and multiple due diligences for a leading Korean private equity investor
  • assessing, designing, and implementing a holistic transformation program for a downstream oil and gas client
  • supporting a leading payment player to rapidly improve profitability through operational improvement and product portfolio optimization

Prior to joining McKinsey, Dongyoon worked as an international growth consultant in technology sector.

Dongyoon is fluent in Korean and English. In his spare time, he enjoys watching movies and visiting museums.
