Elysia has two decades of industry and consulting experience in life, health, general, and group insurance, as well as the public sector.

She is passionate about building success stories with her industry partners through the design and delivery of strategic and transformation initiatives, aligning technology to the business, and leading in new concepts across multiple business domains and digital themes.

Elysia has advised and delivered enterprise value for multinational and local insurers in Asia across a range of topics, including distribution transformation, industry convergence, target operating model design, business and process optimization, and technology modernization.

Prior to joining McKinsey, Elysia established and led insurance work for a global professional-services firm in Southeast Asia. She has also managed the design and implementation of national-level “open insurance” initiatives to raise the level of financial literacy amongst Singapore citizens and residents.

Elysia is frequently quoted by the media and major Asian Insurance publications regarding her industry expertise. She is also active in generating insurance-focused content through whitepapers, blogs, podcasts, and talks.

A born and bred Singaporean, Elysia believes in being her best self every day, and enjoys good food, good wine, and good company.
