Leads McKinsey’s Insurance and Private Equity & Principal Investors Practices’ joint venture work in North America

Grier works closely with insurance carriers, distributors, and insurance technology providers, as well as investors in the insurance industry. She has a track record of leading successful organic and inorganic growth programs. And, in her work with investors, Grier has extensive experience across the value chain, conducting initial due diligence, partnering with portfolio company-management teams, and supporting exits.

In leading McKinsey’s insurance and private equity joint venture in North America, Grier is responsible for research and knowledge in this area and collaborates closely with colleagues around the globe to serve clients exploring cross-border transactions and growth.

Grier lives with her family in southern Maine. She is a board member of Educate Maine, a not-for-profit organization that champions college and career readiness. She also serves on the New England local advisory board of Jumpstart for Young Children, a national early-education organization.
