Hiroshi serves a number of industrial clients, such as automotive and heavy machinery OEMs, to support their corporate-wide transformations. His expertise ranges from corporate growth strategy design to operational improvement, as well as marketing & sales capability enhancement.
His recent engagements in the automotive sector included designing a business strategy specific to Japan, including a comprehensive diagnosis on the company’s organizational performance. He also supported the establishment of a global revenue management program by setting up a global PMO, assessing revenue improvement potentials by levers (e.g., pricing, dealer management), and designing key initiatives.
In the heavy machinery sector, he recently created a global product platform strategy, introduced comprehensive target costing approaches, and designed a global procurement optimization program, which led to ~100 mil USD in cost savings. He also launched a capex management program focusing on design optimization of a new factory and productivity improvement of the existing plants, which resulted in ~110 mil USD in capex reduction.
