James leads McKinsey's Engineering Construction & Building Materials Practice in Greater China and is a core leader for our Travel, Logistics & Infrastructure sector. He is often appointed as an interim CXO on client leadership teams to rapidly extend liquidity runway, boost performance, and assist in the restructuring of their organizations to maximize company valuation.

James has worked extensively with over 60 organizations across 15 countries, including Greater China, the United States, Canada, the U.K., France, Spain, South Africa, Botswana, Korea, Japan, India, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, and Australia.

James currently resides in China and is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English.
