Jay is a core leader of McKinsey’s Life Sciences Practice in Asia. Since joining McKinsey, he has extensively engaged in life sciences projects in Japan, South Korea, and the United States.

In recent years, he has advised pharmaceutical and biotech companies, focusing on their innovation strategies, globalization strategies, and corporate-wide transformations.

His recent client work includes:

  • developing corporate and innovation strategies (e.g., R&D, CGT) aimed at future growth and globalization for pharmaceutical and biotech companies across Asia
  • supporting biotech companies as they define clinical development strategies and manage asset teams to drive global clinical development programs
  • leading transformation programs with life sciences companies to enhance financial performance, operational efficiency, and organizational culture
  • supporting cross-border integration management for biopharma businesses between Asia and North America

Based in Japan, Jay actively engages with key markets across Asia, collaborating with life sciences companies throughout the region. He brings a blend of global and regional insights to clients.
