Jiamei is a partner in McKinsey’s Consumer Packaged Goods and Retail Practices. She is passionate about helping brands, retailers, and investors in the areas of omnichannel growth, developing customer-centric strategies grounded in insights, foresight, and customer experience. She has led growth and transformation programs across North America, Latin America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Greater China.

Before joining McKinsey, Jiamei spent over ten years in industry-leading business transformation programs. Her experience spans retail, banking, manufacturing, public sector, and utilities.

Some of her recent work includes:

  • leading an e-commerce digital growth strategy and designing customer experience programs for a marketplace in North America and Latin America
  • designing and launching a new digital-centric, experiential loyalty program for a global leader in jewelry
  • guiding the development of a ten-year growth strategy for an apparel and footwear leader in Asia
  • helping design a new organization and operating model for a global luxury apparel brand
