Kevin leads the firm’s digital and core technology work for the Travel, Logistics & Infrastructure practice in North America. He advises leading travel, logistics, infrastructure, manufacturing, and utilities companies on using digital and analytics for maximum effect. In particular, Kevin brings deep expertise in modernizing core technology and helping clients develop and implement IT strategies—leading to large-scale technology transformations and tangible business outcomes.

Examples of Kevin’s recent client experience include:

  • developing a holistic digital master plan for an international airport to support its terminal expansion strategy
  • assisting a logistics company in redesigning and developing its fleet management platform to streamline business processes and enhance client experience
  • supporting a large North American logistics company with its IT strategy reboot, from design to rollout, targeting a run rate of over $250 million; the project included launching a data center of excellence and modernizing core architecture
  • helping a global logistics organization design and implement a lighthouse digital use case that involved migrating 150 branches to daily route optimization
  • developing a digital factory for a utility company—spanning the cloud platform and organizational and operations model—to transform business processes and achieve a run rate of $200 million over the next five to seven years
  • advising a chemicals manufacturer on its IT transformation by assessing its current IT landscape, defining and designing its future state, developing service blueprints to support value-case execution, and detailing enterprise transformation roadmaps across manufacturing, commercial, supply chain, and other areas
  • supporting the IT strategy and technology reboot of a utility company and ensuring that the reboot was aligned with desired business outcomes, achieving $150 million in annual cost savings

As a transformative change leader, Kevin also drives, supports, and delivers LGBTQ+ diversity impact programs both within and outside McKinsey. Prior to joining McKinsey, Kevin spent ten years at IBM working on cloud computing and large IT transformations.
