Orit leads engineering for Iguazio, an AI start-up that was acquired by McKinsey in 2023 and is now a part of QuantumBlack, AI by McKinsey. Iguazio delivers an AI platform for implementing and scaling AI and generative AI applications in live business environments, automating machine learning (ML) pipelines and enabling simpler, more cost-efficient, and scalable deployment and management of AI applications.

A cofounder of Iguazio, Orit brings more than 25 years of experience in AI, big data, cloud architecture, and data storage to her client work. She also holds 50 patents related to data and storage. Prior to Iguazio’s acquisition by McKinsey, Orit was vice president of architecture at the company, which she and her cofounders started in 2014. Previously, Orit was chief architect at XIV (acquired by IBM) and spent 15 years at IBM in various senior architect and development roles.
