Roshan leads McKinsey’s work on digital payments in the United States, through which he serves leading incumbents and disruptors across the entire payments value chain. His clients include infrastructure providers, card issuers, payment networks, payment service providers, fraud and identity companies, and retailers and marketplaces.
Roshan also co-leads McKinsey’s work serving private equity investors on payments topics, including market assessments, commercial diligence, and portfolio value creation.
Examples of Roshan’s recent work include:
- reshaping a global information service provider through M&A to scale across higher-growth segments
- supporting a technology-focused private equity firm on a growth transfomration for a veritcal software and payments company
- launching two innovative credit card products with a regional credit card issuer, supporting across value proposition, rewards, journeys, and economics

Beyond client service, Roshan co-hosts McKinsey’s podcast series, Talking Banking Matters, specifically hosting a subsegment focused on leaders in payments, where he interviews CxOs of the fastest-growing disruptors in the industry.
