Stephen is a partner in McKinsey’s Toronto Office, leading our digital and analytics work in Toronto. He is a leader globally of our data transformation practice, serving financial services, retail, and industrial clients on how to drive improvements through data, technology, and analytics.

Some of his recent client work includes the following:

  • Supporting a global financial institution on the redesign of its data management practices (e.g., org model, governance, data quality, roles and responsibilities and data architecture) to support business critical use-case delivery
  • Leading development of a data product delivery model for a regional insurer, including scoping and delivery of two data products aligned to marketing use cases
  • Redesign of the technology delivery model for a global financial institution to increase efficiency, increasing capacity for new project delivery by 10-15 percent

Prior to joining McKinsey, Stephen was an engineer and founder of an early-stage startup in the telecommunications sector. He is passionate about innovation and developing entrepreneurship.

In his spare time, he enjoys running, biking and cooking with his wife and their twin boys.
