Tatiana oversees McKinsey’s work in healthcare in our Northeast offices. She serves flagship pharmaceutical companies across the globe.
Tatiana advises pharmaceutical clients on a range of strategic and operational issues, including transactions, transformational change, and digital. With a particular focus on enterprise-wide transformational change initiatives, she is skilled in restructuring and driving organizational and operational improvements at scale. She also regularly partners with clients on mergers and acquisitions, integrations, and divestitures at scale.
Examples of her recent client work include the following:
- helping a global pharmaceutical company through a multiyear journey to reshape the company into a new industry leader, the effort involving a large acquisition and integration and divestitures
- supporting a client in assessing organizational health and simplifying the organization to remove bureaucracy and create a leaner, more agile company capable of faster decision making and product innovation
- advising a client on how to restructure its organization into customer-centric business units that create more value, including identifying business units that would be better positioned as separate businesses and spinning off one specific business
- helping a pharmaceutical company identify digital aspirations, develop a digital strategy, and implement priority digital initiatives
In recent years, Tatiana has worked more closely with small and midsize pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. She is experienced in assuming extended roles in leadership teams, helping clients commercialize pharmaceutical products and develop strategies to address challenges that can impede a product’s launch.
Tatiana also coleads recruitment in the Northeast. Through her leadership roles, she is able to mentor numerous colleagues in the healthcare sector. She is particularly passionate about developing the next generation of leaders at McKinsey.
As the mother of three energetic sons, Tatiana is proud to have been named “Working Mother of the Year” in 2017 by Working Mother magazine. A native of Siberia, she speaks Russian, English, and conversational Italian.
