Constant challenge, constant impact—and an amazing career

Five years into my McKinsey career, I am still motivated to be part of this amazing firm. I am surrounded by and always learning from talented people, and I am challenged and never bored. As consultants, we focus on achieving relevant and sustainable impact for our clients–and there is nothing more rewarding than their positive feedback. At McKinsey, you can set your own path. Working and learning across the world

I have worked across North and South America in banking, insurance, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, consumer goods and media, covering strategy, marketing, risk, and operations. I am constantly surprised by how we truly operate as one global firm. You might occasionally find yourself in the United Kingdom for a week of training with 600 colleagues, having daily problem-solving sessions with advanced-analytics experts in India, presenting to a group of senior executives in Argentina, and back home in Peru by the weekend.

Professional growth at many levels

Through my exposure to senior executives, I have learned to distill facts and analysis into clear, actionable recommendations. By working in various industries, I learned to identify important drivers of value and focus discussions on relevant and strategic topics. I have gained experience working with teams and different leadership styles. Throughout, I have benefited from constant two-way feedback and the support of my colleagues and mentors.
