Christer is a partner based in the Stockholm office. He joined McKinsey in 2012 and has extensive experience working with some of the world’s leading heavy industrial companies in the global energy and materials space. His has expertise in areas including pulp, paper, packaging, mining, and steel.

In his role, Christer focuses on creating long-lasting and substantial value for our clients through operations and cross-functional transformations. He is dedicated to helping build capabilities that enable continuous improvement within client organizations. Christer’s functional focus encompasses operations, including manufacturing, supply-chain optimization, procurement, and capital excellence.

During his spare time, Christer enjoys the Nordic outdoors with his family, whether it’s skiing in the winter or hiking and biking in the mountains during the summer.
