Swarna has deep expertise in product development, working in McKinsey’s Operations and Automotive & Assembly Practices. Her focus is on our global work on the future of mobility, which looks at the integrated perspective of electric vehicles, autonomous cars, connectivity, shared vehicles, and energy storage in rapidly growing urban environments. Swarna helps global oil and gas operators develop new business opportunities arising from mobility trends and leads workshops on future mobility disruptions with city officials, energy and utility companies, and large conglomerates. She also helps clients in product development and other operations-related areas to improve their efficiency.

With a more than a decade’s background in car design and engineering, Swarna has helped auto manufacturers redefine end-to-end product-development processes and established cross-functional operating models.
